MIT AI lab --- fun stuff

Fun Stuff

This page describes fun stuff in the greater Boston area, available over the Net . Most of this currently is from MIT Techinfo, but there are some lab-local resources up at the top. Suggestions are welcome. If you've got an afternoon to spend exploring hypermedia space, then the ticket office to the EXPO is right around the corner. The EXPO is a collection of beautifully rendered hypermedia exhibits on the Vatican library, the voyage of Columbus, and much more. It's also a splendid example of hypermedia at work.

Another fine exhibit is the dinosaur exhibit from Honolulu Community College, which is quickly acquiring a national reputation for its visually stunning Web-based campus information system. The dinosaur exhibit has all sorts of neat multimedia glitz (pictures! movies! sounds!); if you like that, be sure to check it out.

There probably ought to be a database of humor here, but not yet.
