If you've got an afternoon to spend exploring hypermedia space, then the ticket office to the EXPO is right around the corner. The EXPO is a collection of beautifully rendered hypermedia exhibits on the Vatican library, the voyage of Columbus, and much more. It's also a splendid example of hypermedia at work.
Another fine exhibit is the dinosaur exhibit from Honolulu Community College, which is quickly acquiring a national reputation for its visually stunning Web-based campus information system. The dinosaur exhibit has all sorts of neat multimedia glitz (pictures! movies! sounds!); if you like that, be sure to check it out.
There probably ought to be a database of humor here, but not yet.
