Yes, 2.0.1 adds a switch that allows you to turn off Javascript.

The problem is that a Javascript can capture much information about the user and
report it back to a remote host with the user knowing.  It can capture the
bookmarks and
personal info for sure. Don't know if anyone ahs checked to see if it can
capture the page
cache on the client.
