4. Consolidate and integrate federal government private networks. The GITS Working Group should compile an inventory of private telecommunications networks currently in use within the federal government by December 1994. The working group should evaluate this inventory to identify opportunities for consolidating, sharing, and interconnecting network resources among government agencies.
