INew (x, y; a) = I(x - a fx(x,y), y - a fy(x,y))

• Translation
  • X translation: fx(x,y) = 1, fy(x,y) = 0
    • Translates a pixels to the left.
  • Y translation: fx(x,y) = 0, fy(x,y) = 1
    • Translates a pixels up.
  • Rotation: fx(x,y) = sin(q) x + cos(q) y fy(x,y) = cos(q) x - sin(q) y
    • Rotates q degrees around the origin
