STatistical AI Reading Group

This group meets weekly to host a speaker, brainstorm about research in progress, or discuss a paper in the areas of statistical artificial intelligence and machine learning.  Topics include:
  • Markov decision processes, (RL, HMMs, POMDPs...)
  • multi-agent AI and stochastic games
  • stochastic control and optimization 
  • statistical information retrieval
  • natural language processing
  • robotics and uncertainty
  • graphical models for object detection
  • first order probabilistic reasoning
... and whatever else strikes our fancy.  All are welcome!
