Oration

Oration was an important skill in Ancient Greece. In some states, if someone accused you of treason, you had to prove your innocence mainly by verbal persuation. Of course, the art didn't really attain its full glory until the Romans, and in particular Cicero, came along. At least, that's my version of the history. For something more accurate, see the Encyclopedia Britannica's version.

In our case, we will hold a debate on an as-yet-unchosen topic. Judges will determine the winners.
