Music Video Results

By happy surprise, all four teams managed to organize and put together quite interesting and entertaining music videos in the short time available --- it's nice to see such creative (if not always tasteful :) spirits alive at the lab. Congratulations to all the music video teams! We hope you learned something about editing (music) videos and your fellow lab-mates.

By the nature of life at the lab, however, much of this wouldn't have happened without the threat of a little competition to motivate everyone. So the videos were judged; below are details of the judging for those interested.

Judging the Music Video event was performed by 2 representatives for each team. The representatives did not judge their own team. Below are the average scores given by the six judges who scored each team. Afterward the judging form is shown. Participation was based on the number of people from the team who participated in any video (not necessarily their own team's).

Originality, Relevance, Overall Impression, and Particiaption. Each
judging criterion is worth a total of 20 possible points, for a
combined total of 80 possible points (we're computing particpiation
points, so judges don't have to worry about that -- see below).
Circle the appropriate number below (1=poor, 5=excellent)

total number of people who participated (on and off camera). We will
not count the same person more than once.
