Game Wrapup

We lost this one in the worst possible way: despite being outgunned by their ringers, and them having about as many skaters as we did, we scored first, and were playing them to a tough 1-1 tie late in the 3rd period, mainly on the strength of Steve's goaltending. (The goal was by Greg with an absolutely stellar assist from Maddog.) When, with 95 seconds to go in the game, I got called for a stupid (but blatant) tripping penalty in their zone. They scored a power play goal with about 10 seconds to go while I was in the box. We pulled the goalie but had no chance. 2-1 final.

But we all learned a valuable lesson about penalties late in the game. And about penalty killing. We basically drew a tie against a tough team with ringers. It was a pretty good performance.
