Game Wrapup

In a come from behind victory against a tough opponent, we got rid of the bad taste of our last loss and pulled out a solid 4-2 victory. Steve had a stellar night in goal, ably assisted by some great defensive work. And finally, our offense was clicking. We had a ton of shots, kept it in their zone, made crisp passes, and skated hard. Thanks go out to Steve for again playing for the injured Mike Batchelder, and to Jerry Pratt for replacing Polina (sick) and Raquel (at an MIT women's game).

The only negative from the game was the frightening moment when Mark was hit hard into the boards, took a skate to the back of the neck, and didn't get up for a couple of minutes. Hopeless reffing was to blame for letting sloppy hitting get out of hand, and Mark almost paid a high price. As it is, he's going to be sore for a couple of days. At least we scored on the play!!
