The toughest game yet this season. The Media Lab team trounced the Lab's Execution Time team last year by a margin of 5-1, but the incredible amount of energy and hustle demonstrated by the Halting Problem led to a decisive 3-1 victory.

We scored the first goal, but the Media Lab rallied immediately to make it 1-1. The game stayed tied until early in the third period, when we scored again. The situation got a little tense when we got a penalty halfway through the third, but the Problem extended its perfect penalty killing record. The last-minute goal by Dave Evans from the right circle nailed the coffin shut.

The team played an outstanding defensive game, with the forwards backchecking at top speed, and the defenders slowing up the attack by pulling back from the blue line early and skating backwards through the neutral zone. The number of shots on goal was kept to about 8, helping Mike (Iron Curtain) Wessler maintain his Goals Against Average of 0.0 (the first two periods were played with a substitute goalie).

Coach Misha played defense to counterbalance the B-league ringer brought by the FreezeFrames.
