Description:

4 museums under one roof: the Botanical Museum featuring the famous "glass flower" exihibit; the Museum of Comparative Zoology, with exhibits of dinosaurs skeletons, birds, beetles, fish, reptiles and mammals from around the world including extinct and vanishing species; the Peabody Museum oof Archaeology and Ethnology's exhibit of artifats from Mayan and American Southwest Indian cultures including an outstanding collection of katachinas (small ritual figures); and the Mineralogical and Geological Museum with one of the most important collections of mineral specimens.
