     I was unable to duplicate the "cam exceptions allowed" status
problem in simulation, and what you described certainly shouldn't be
happening.  I found two extra, erroneous lines describing the exception
status bits in "/im/faust/txt/ifc.txt"--does this explain the problem
(I have deleted the two lines in question)?  If not, is there an
experiment I can run to duplicate the problem?

     It was good to hear of the birth of CAM!
