Norm, Sorry for not responding sooner; I was hoping to have something of more substance to report. I've been looking at the parity error problem--it appears to be a problem related to bus holdups when changing from read to write, which was masked by holdups the cam chip used to generate. I attempted to fix the problem but there is still a problem with which I would like to have Tom's help. I wish the new were better; see you tomorrow. Doug
