As mentioned in the introduction, we are planning to provide RA support to other groups here at MIT interested in collaborating with us on algorithm and software development for CAM-8. This would include physical scientists who want to develop CA algorithms of physical systems, and computer scientists who are interested in developing CA-based algorithms, languages, or systems software. The algorithms and collaborations discussed in the previous Sections give an idea of the range of areas already being explored on CAM-8.
