Thanks to the suggestion by Rainer, I have moved the DIMMs in my 9500
to the highest number slots, and this seems to have cured my crashing
problems.  At least so far.  My server is doing things it couldn't
before, at least, and I am eternally optomistic that's it's all going
to work flawlessly now!
