9500 crashes

My 9500 runnnig cl-http which has been crashing quite a bit is now
slightly more stable crashing at the rate of maybe twice a week,
though the load is very light at this time.

I used to get all kinds of assorted crashes: unimplemented traps,
system errors, etc.

After applying all the recommended fixes I am down to one type of
crash, which is at least reassuring in that prgress is being made.

I have no experience with macsbug at all, so I'm sending this out to
see if anyone does - I'll switch over to the mcl list if no one here
can help.  I have also sent mail to bug-mcl, but I'm nt holding my
breath on that one.

It looks like  have a heap problem, and I'm assuming that's why the
crash occurred.  Based on the info from macsbug below, does anyone
think that mucking some moroe wtht the heap-related resources might be
a workaround?  (They are currently doubled from the original).
