CL-HTTP 58.12 is now on the FTP site. It has a few minor patches including a fix for a security bug in directory listings. But, it primarily fixes several bugs in the ACL port. Now, CL-HTTP should load smoothly for all platforms. On the MAC platform, a few fixes from an experimental xmactcp.lisp were migrated to the released system that will quite likely improve reliability. Please report any improvements or problems.
