is the inferno site at Bell Labs. Inferno was
announced last week in the press while many of us
were busy attending the outstanding Dynamic Objects Event
and Workshop in Boston (DOE/DOW-96)...

After Olin Shivers presentation at DOW-96 on extending the
Java VM to support dynamic languages, it may be of interest
to this group to identify if the Inferno virtual machine
(called Dis - aka RISC) will better support dynamic languages
than the Java (CISC) machine, or not...
