Digest authentication is broken in MS Internet Explorer 3.0 for the Mac
but it works in earlier releases.

Has anybody tried Digest Authentication for IE 3.0 on the Windows platform?
Does it work there?

Or are we looking at entropy in action?

MS will have to figure it out for 4.0 if they want to be HTTP 1.1
compliant.
